| Every day we are told that brain training
is the new exercise, learning to play the piano (or any instrument)
is one of the best ways to enhance the brain. Reading and playing music
involves many skills: math, eye to hand co-ordination, discipline,
imagination and patience, to name but a few.
I began to play piano at the age of six in my home town of Haskovo.
In 1987 at the age of 14 I was admitted to the renowned Music School
in Stara Zagora.
Six years later I moved to the Academy of Music (Conservatoire) in
the Bulgarian capital Sofia,
where in 1996 I graduated with a Diploma of Completed Higher Education
– Piano, the equivalent of Master's degree in Piano. The
next few years were taken up by extra music-related studies, whilst
I taught piano in music schools in Sofia.
In 2002 I moved to the Middle
East as part of classical duo – piano and cello. I spent two years
in the Sultanate of Oman and a year in Cyprus, where I continued playing
and teaching piano.
Now I am settled in Witney with my young family, where I am teaching
again.
I offer:
- private and partners lessons;
- lessons for children and adults (any age and all levels);
- ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall;
- pre-school classes with lots of musical games and fun
